Pass-through architecture — live MEISAI data is not permanently stored
Toll data is wiped after the report is generated. Only delivery metadata (status, timestamps, transaction counts) is retained on your dashboard.
1. Data We Collect
Account registration information (email, name, language preference), ETC card information (card number, onboard unit number, vehicle plate last 4 digits, recent usage date), MEISAI account credentials (for Method B), report history data (request dates, statuses, report content).
2. How Data Is Stored
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Passwords are processed with advanced encryption. ETC card numbers are masked when displayed. All communication is encrypted.
3. MEISAI Account Information
MEISAI credentials provided by customers who choose Method B (connect existing account) are used only for report automation purposes. Service employees do not manually access customer MEISAI accounts. Automation features are controlled by secure management processes.
4. Data Usage Scope
Customer data is used only for providing ETC toll usage report retrieval, organization, and email delivery services. Data is not used for marketing purposes or sold/rented to third parties.
5. Data Retention
Data is retained while the account is active. After account deactivation, data is deleted within a reasonable period except as required by legal obligations. Contact support for specific retention periods.
6. Data Deletion
Customers can request account deactivation at any time. For complete data deletion, contact support@japantollreceipts.jp.
7. Audit Logs
To ensure service transparency and security, all significant operations (logins, card additions/edits, report requests, settings changes, admin actions) are recorded in audit logs.
8. Third-Party Disclosure
Customer data is not disclosed to third parties without explicit consent, except as required by law. Only minimum necessary information is shared with Stripe for payment processing.
