Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
1. Service Overview
Japan Toll Receipts ("the Service") is an independent report automation service that supports ETC toll usage report retrieval, organization, and email delivery. The Service is not the official ETC usage inquiry service, NEXCO, or a toll road operator. The Service does not collect toll payments or unpaid toll charges.
2. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account with an email address and password. You are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining the security of your account. One account per customer.
3. Free Weekly Plan
The Free Weekly plan is available at no charge. No credit card is required for the Free Weekly plan.
4. 1-Year Premium Trial
Japan Toll Receipts may offer a 1-year Daily Plus trial. No credit card is required to begin the trial unless otherwise stated. If the customer does not choose a paid plan after the trial, the account will automatically switch to the Free Weekly plan.
5. Monthly Paid Plan
The Daily Plus Monthly plan is billed at ¥300/month when paid billing is active. Customers may cancel the monthly plan at any time. Cancellation stops future monthly renewals. Access may continue through the current paid billing period.
6. Annual Paid Plan
The Daily Plus Annual plan is billed once per year at ¥2,980. It is not a monthly subscription. Unless otherwise required by law or separately approved by Japan Toll Receipts, annual payments are not refundable for mid-term cancellation.
7. Early Access 5-Year Pass
The Early Access 5-Year Pass is a one-time payment of ¥9,800 for 5 years of Daily Plus access. It is not a lifetime plan and does not provide permanent access. Unless otherwise required by law or separately approved by Japan Toll Receipts, 5-Year Pass payments are not refundable for mid-term cancellation.
8. No Automatic Paid Conversion Without Payment Setup
If no payment method is provided and paid billing is not activated by the customer, the customer will not be automatically charged after the free trial. The account will switch to the Free Weekly plan.
9. ETC Card Information
Customers must confirm that the ETC card, onboard unit, and vehicle information registered are accurate and that they are authorized to access the related usage records. Each account supports up to 10 ETC cards.
10. Data Handling
Japan Toll Receipts is designed as a pass-through reporting service. Live MEISAI toll transaction data is processed temporarily to generate and deliver your email report, then discarded. Detailed toll data is not permanently stored on your dashboard.
11. Plan Changes
Customers may move from a paid plan to the Free Weekly plan after their paid access period ends, subject to system rules and plan availability.
12. Limitation of Liability
The Service does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or completeness of the official ETC system.
13. Service Availability, Third-Party Dependencies, and Fair Refund Policy
Japan Toll Receipts depends on third-party systems including the official MEISAI website, email delivery providers, hosting providers, and payment providers. These systems may change, restrict access, or become temporarily unavailable. If MEISAI changes, Japan Toll Receipts will try to adapt or find a suitable replacement. Temporary outages do not automatically create refunds. If a core paid feature is unavailable for more than 7 consecutive days due to a Japan Toll Receipts system issue, we may provide a service extension or credit. If the core paid Daily Plus service is permanently discontinued and no reasonable replacement exists, customers with unused paid time on Annual or 5-Year Pass plans may receive a pro-rated credit or refund for unused full months remaining. This does not apply when the customer simply does not want the service, leaves Japan, no longer drives, fails to complete setup, or violates Terms. The 5-Year Pass is not lifetime access.
14. Changes
The Service may modify these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to the registered email address.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
