ETC statement not showing & how to retrieve past records
For ETC Corporate Cards, the ETC Usage Inquiry Service does not issue an invoice-compliant usage certificate. Refer to the applicable monthly invoice issued under the NEXCO or card arrangement.
Short answer
Common reasons include reflection-timing delays, the wrong login account, OBU-management-number registration state, post-re-setup propagation, or the 15-month / 62-day retention limits. Check search conditions, period, target card, and target vehicle first; contact the MEISAI Inquiry Service office if the issue persists. JTR does not resolve display problems but organises a MEISAI-registered account's records into daily PDF + CSV for your own long-term storage.
What to check when records don't appear
- Verify the search period includes the trip date (the default view often shows only recent records).
- Clear card and vehicle filters, then re-search.
- Confirm the login ID is the one that registered the ETC card. If you use multiple IDs, records may be under a different ID.
- Records may take time to reflect (typically same-day to a few days; longer over holidays).
- After a re-setup, allow time for new vehicle and OBU information to propagate.
- Confirm you are within the retention period (15 months for standard cards, 62 days for corporate). Records beyond that must be stored separately.
- Trips paid in cash lanes or non-ETC lanes are not recorded in the MEISAI Inquiry Service.
Handling records beyond the 15-month / 62-day window
- Records beyond the window generally cannot be retrieved from MEISAI.
- Download PDFs / CSVs early and store them yourself.
- As alternative documentation, combine card-issuer statements, internal reimbursement records, and journal entries — a common practice.
- For e-Storage Act retention requirements, see our dedicated guide.
