Overview

When ETC activity is only reviewed at month-end, routes and amounts are already hazy and reconciliation takes longer than it should. The Daily ETC Reports feature in Japan Toll Receipts (JTR) automates the previous-day fetch from MEISAI and delivers an organised PDF + CSV every morning, with routes, costs, and gate-to-gate segments laid out for review. Dispatch, accounting, procurement, and internal-audit teams can focus on the one item that needs confirmation today. The daily report is an early-awareness tool — it does not replace the official MEISAI billing record, and is designed to support Electronic Bookkeeping Law / qualified-invoice retention / internal-policy review.

The problem it solves

Without daily reports, ETC users wait weeks for the card statement to discover unexpected charges, lost receipts, or unfamiliar routes. By then it's too late to verify, dispute, or follow up while details are fresh.

How it works

It runs on a clean, simple cycle.

  1. 1

JTR connects to your authorized MEISAI account on your behalf.

  2. 2

Each morning, yesterday's ETC activity is automatically pulled.

  3. 3

Routes, costs, and timestamps are organized and formatted.

  4. 4

A clean PDF + CSV report is delivered to your email.

Who uses it

FAQ

Common questions

When does the daily report arrive?
Each morning shortly after MEISAI publishes the previous day's toll data. Delivery time varies based on MEISAI's update schedule but is typically before 10 AM JST.
Does this replace the official MEISAI bill?
No. The official MEISAI bill remains the authoritative billing record. Daily reports are an early-awareness tool so you can verify activity before the bill arrives.
Can I receive only weekly or monthly reports instead?
Yes. You can choose daily, weekly, monthly, or custom date ranges per ETC card.
