Trust & Safety
Trust & Safety at Japan Toll Receipts
Japan Toll Receipts (JTR) is an independent toll receipt and report delivery platform. This page documents who we are, what we help with, what we do not guarantee, and how to confirm the authenticity of any communication that claims to be from us.
No credit card required — paid billing never starts without your consent.
Section 01
JTR is an independent service
JTR helps customers organize their own ETC toll records and receive PDF + CSV reports by email. JTR is not NEXCO, the official ETC inquiry service (ETC Usage Inquiry Service (MEISAI)), ITS-TEA, a toll operator, the US military, the Government of Japan, or any other official government system. JTR holds no special access to government registries; live MEISAI data is pass-through and is not permanently stored on JTR.
Section 02
What JTR helps with
JTR organizes records you already own. Eight focused capabilities, each opt-in by plan.
Section 03
What JTR does not guarantee
JTR is editorial and operational, not regulatory. These boundaries are intentional and protect you.
- No tax, legal, audit, invoice, discount, fraud, or compliance guarantee.
- No official toll-operator endorsement (NEXCO, Shuto, Hanshin, Honshu-Shikoku, ITS-TEA).
- No US military command approval or Government of Japan endorsement.
- No claim that any flagged usage is confirmed fraud — Registered Vehicle Monitoring uses neutral language ("needs review", "outside authorized list") only.
Section 04
Security & phishing awareness
JTR will never ask for your ETC Usage Inquiry Service (MEISAI) password by ordinary email or chat. Sensitive credentials should only be entered through JTR's secure dashboard flows. If you receive an email or message claiming to be from JTR that asks for a password, OTP, or credit-card detail, treat it as suspicious by default and verify through our published channels.
Section 05
Guide system & user education
JTR's public guide library is an educational resource for ETC toll records, ETC Usage Inquiry Service (MEISAI) usage, PDF + CSV reports, business review, vehicle monitoring, and Japan toll-road topics. Guides are bilingual (EN / JA) and cross-linked to relevant official references where applicable.
Section 06
Business and government / public-sector trust use cases
Why trust JTR
Trust comes from workflow depth
A reliable ETC reporting service needs more than a good dashboard. It needs careful handling of official-source documents, clear customer consent, bilingual explanations, safe terminology, report traceability, and support for real customer situations. JTR is being built around those requirements from the start.
