Authorized Vehicle Registry

Define which vehicles your ETC cards should actually live on. JTR raises an exception whenever activity suggests a card may have wandered.

The problem it solves

ETC cards can drift — handed to a toll teller manually, moved into a personal car, used in a branch outside its assigned list, or run in a vehicle class that doesn't match the original setup. Without a vehicle-aware check, these patterns only surface weeks later in the bill.

How it works

It runs on a clean, simple cycle.

  1. 1

Upload the vehicles your cards are authorized to drive in.

  2. 2

Assign cards to vehicles, branches, groups, or departments.

  3. 3

JTR checks daily ETC activity against your authorized list.

  4. 4

Exceptions surface in the manager review queue — never auto-judged.

  5. 5

Manager classifies: needs review, approved exception, policy violation, or investigate.

Who uses it

Same technology, three use cases.

Personal

A family lists 3 family cars (mom's, dad's, kid's) and a rental car the family uses occasionally. When the ETC card appears in a 4th unknown vehicle, the parent gets a same-day alert.

Explore Personal

Business

An 80-truck delivery company maps each ETC card to its assigned truck and depot. Card #44 surfacing on a Sunday night in an unknown vehicle lands in the dispatcher's queue Monday morning — not weeks later in the bill.

Gov & Military

A base motor pool registers official vehicles with plate-type matching (Y/A/外/JSDF/公/救). An unauthorized vehicle attempt is logged with full chain-of-custody evidence for audit follow-up.

FAQ

Common questions

Does JTR block ETC cards or stop vehicles?
No. JTR does not block cards, stop vehicles, or make legal determinations. It's an early-warning and review tool — your managers make the call.
How is Personal different from Business / Government?
Personal is a lite version: 5–10 vehicles, manual entry, simple alerts, no review queue. Business and Government get the full registry with hierarchy, review queue, and audit-ready exports.
What's the wording for exceptions?
Exceptions are labeled "needs review", "possible unauthorized use", "possible setup mismatch", or "exception" — never "confirmed fraud".
