ETC Usage Inquiry Service retrieval support

The official ETC Usage Inquiry Service (MEISAI) website was not built for automatic reporting. JTR fills that gap — securely, with zero long-term retention of live toll data.

Overview

The official ETC Usage Inquiry Service (MEISAI) portal was designed for one-off lookups, and there is no public API for automating the daily pull or bulk-downloading across multiple cards. The ETC Usage Inquiry Service retrieval support feature in Japan Toll Receipts (JTR) is an independent automation service that logs into your authorised MEISAI account on a daily schedule, fetches only the new rows, and organises them for downstream review. Live MEISAI rows are used to generate reports and alerts, then wiped from the processing layer — JTR’s retrieve-and-deliver design does not retain long-term live toll history on our servers. JTR is not a replacement for MEISAI; it is an organising and review-support layer that sits on top of your authorised MEISAI access.

The problem it solves

Anyone tracking ETC activity today logs into ETC Usage Inquiry Service (MEISAI) manually, copies rows by hand, and reformats them in Excel. There is no MEISAI API. The site is designed for one-off lookups, not ongoing automation. This is the gap most ETC users still handle manually.

How it works

It runs on a clean, simple cycle.

  • 1

You authorize JTR to connect to your ETC利用照会サービス(MEISAI) account.

  • 2

JTR fetches ETC activity on a daily schedule.

  • 3

Data flows through retrieve-and-deliver architecture — no long-term storage of live ETC利用照会サービス(MEISAI) data.

  • 4

Reports + alerts are generated, then live data is discarded.

  • Who uses it

    Same technology, three use cases.

    Personal

A driver stops logging into ETC利用照会サービス(MEISAI) entirely. JTR delivers everything to email — they only revisit MEISAI for things JTR doesn't automate (rare).

    Business

A vehicle manager replaces 6 hours/month of manual ETC利用照会サービス(MEISAI) exports with automated daily delivery — across every card, every branch.

    Gov & Public-Sector

An audit team gets continuous evidence-grade ETC data without each office having to manually log into ETC利用照会サービス(MEISAI) for each vehicle pool.

    FAQ

    Common questions

Does JTR store my ETC利用照会サービス(MEISAI) password?
Credentials are encrypted at rest. They are never logged in plaintext and are used only to fetch your authorized data on your behalf.
    Does this replace ETC利用照会サービス(MEISAI) itself?
No. MEISAI remains the official data source. JTR is an automation + alerting layer on top of your authorized MEISAI access.
    What is "retrieve-and-deliver architecture"?
Live ETC利用照会サービス(MEISAI) data flows through JTR's processing pipeline to produce reports and alerts, then the live data itself is discarded. Only your generated reports and audit logs are retained.
